Spray foam Insulation prevents heating and cooling loss better than any other type of insulation. It insulates 50% better than traditional products and saves the typical consumer about 20% on their heating and cooling bills. Obviously, that all depends on the type of Foam you choose and the thickness it's applied. Spray Foam Insulation also creates an excellent water barrier, is fire resistant and prevents those pesky bugs and rodents from getting in by closing up all the small holes and cracks in any commercial or residential space.

Spray Foam Insulation has a great turnaround time. The foam is generally dry to the touch in about an hour, and your employees/family can be safely back inside the structure within 24 hours.

Spray Foam Insulation can make insulating an otherwise difficult space easier and more cost effective. With traditional forms of insulation you may have to cut the boards or rolls of fiberglass to fit. Some spaces you may not even be able to get to those traditional methods. The advantage of using Spray Foam Insulation in any commercial or residential space is that it can literally go almost anywhere. It can be sprayed around windows in an attic, a crawl space, vaulted ceiling or even any other odd shaped space you may have.

What exactly is Spray Foam Insulation and why is it so important?

Spray Foam Insulation is created when two separate compounds are mixed together and a chemical reaction causes them to expand into a foam that will fill an entire area. It will block moisture and sound, prevent air leaks and improve the structural integrity of a commercial or residential building.

Have you been considering Spray Foam Insulation and want some reasons why it makes sense for you?

It's going to last! Most insulation breaks down over time and will require replacement, NOT Spray Foam Insulation. While the initial cost may be higher than other forms of insulation out there you won't have to spend the time and money later to replace it.

Spray Foam Insulation is a healthier option for your employees/family. It typically only takes 24 hours for the Spray Foam to off-gas ( completely cure and become nontoxic). Once that off-gas process finishes, there are no harmful fumes or airborne particles (like fiberglass insulation has) to create health risks.

Spray Foam Insulation comes in three forms; open cell, closed cell and high density closed cell.

  • Open Cell: This Spray Foam Insulation better tolerates any structural expanding and contracting caused by major temperature changes. It has a softer consistency which allows it to "move" as temperatures rise or fall. This is created as the cells are not fully encapsulated (or closed). This type of Spray Foam Insulation does need to have a vapor barrier installed over it and is not used as often and closed cell Spray Foam is.
  • Closed Cell: This Spray Foam Insulation will add to the structural strength of a building. It does that because the foam dries more rigid than the Open Cell style. Closed Cell also delivers a higher degree of water resistance, preventing flooding and leak damage to walls and ceilings. The R-Value is also higher in closed cell insulation than open cell insulation. Closed Cell Spray Foam Insulation works great not only for commercial and residential interior walls but also for roofing and exterior walls.
  • High Density Closed Cell: This style Spray Foam Insulation kicks it up yet another notch as it has the highest density, repels water the best and has the highest insulation factor per inch. This spray foam roof insulation is used for spraying and or repairing roofs roofs and even insulation of exterior walls on residential and commercial spaces.
