Concrete Lifting and Leveling
Concrete Raising also referred to as concrete lifting, concrete leveling, slabjacking and polyjacking, is the process of raising your concrete slabs back to their original position. Often less than half the price of replacing concrete, it provides a cost effective, time efficient and sustainable way to have your concrete be level again. Many homeowners and businesses make the mistake of waiting until the problem gets worse to fix it and end up spending 3-5 times the amount of money to tear out and replace the concrete instead of calling to have the failing concrete lifted and leveled. If your business or home has a basement, factory floor, driveway or sidewalk concrete slab that is uneven and causing safety hazards, don't wait to call us to see how we can help you!
Why does concrete settle? What signs should I look for to know my Concrete is failing?
Concrete can settle for numerous reasons including poor soil conditions, poor compaction, tree roots and even poor drainage. Northern states that go thru seasonal frost/thaw cycles are especially susceptible to failing concrete.
Why raise your existing concrete?
Uneven concrete surfaces can be more than just an eyesore they can be a liability. In the past most people thought they would have to spend the money to have the failing concrete torn out and replaced. Today's advancements in technology allow us to raise, repair, lift and level most concrete surfaces close to the original positions limiting trip and fall injuries. Polyurethane Concrete Lifting and Leveling otherwise known as polyjacking uses a two-part mixture that reacts and expands into a lightweight material, as it expands it is able to fill voids below the surface supporting and raising the concrete slab.
What do we raise?
Our company has the equipment and the knowledge to raise nearly any surface limiting liabilities to the property owner.
We use a specialized foam and focus primarily on polyjacking and Deep Foam Injection. Our foam is lightweight, cures in a short amount of time (your daily life while not be interrupted for long) and is environmentally friendly. Meaning, we can repair not only the sidewalks, parking lots or driveways to your home or business but we can also quickly repair failing seawalls and structures that may be partially sinking on your property.
Using Deep Foam Injection we are able to install the foam even deeper to increase the load bearing capacity of the sub grade without leaking any harmful chemicals into the ground. Some of the lifting and leveling services we offer are:
- Seawall Repairs
- Parking Lots
- Airport Runways
- Pool Decks, Patios
- Garage Floors, Interior Floors
- Sidewalks and Walkways
- Apartment Complexes
- Roads, Streets, Highways, Curbs
- Bridge Approaches
- Soil Stabilization
- Void Filling
How do we do it?
We drill small 5/8" holes in your failing surface and inject the soil below with our environmentally friendly foam inject to stabilize the failing soil and lift and level the concrete. Then once it is raised we lifted and leveled, patch the holes, clean up and leave. It takes us more time to set up than it does to raise your business or home's failing surfaces. The material we use never loses its density and remains permanently below the surface. This allows us to fix most jobs for less than it would cost us to tear out and replace the failing surface. Call us today for an estimate.
Don't wait until your surface is beyond repair. Let us help you raise it!
